Someone, please stop time, PLEASE! Finn is growing too fast!! I really cannot believe he's 15 months old already! This past month has been exceptionally busy to say the least. Both Colin and I were very busy at work. While I was finishing report cards/conferences and dreaming of Spring Break, we were also juggling days off to take care of a very sick little Finley. I don't have any pictures, but trust me, it was not fun. He had an ear infection, upper respiratory infection, and conjunctivitis. Poor kid!! Oh, I forgot to mention teething, too... I felt TERRIBLE for him! With this we were also busy tying up loose ends our the purchase of our new home, signing closing documents, packing our home into boxes, etc., etc., etc.. Once we did what we had to do in order to make things feel as "settled" as possible for Finn. Luckily he was on the mend by the day of the big move.
All that aside, this little guy is changing and growing so much every single day! Each day he seems to copy some new word we say which never ceases to make me smile. Today it was "gentle" as he was looking at my earrings. He is LOVING playing outside, climbing up and down stairs (thank you Papa Ed for teaching him how to come down in just the nick of time). He is also figuring out how to show where his eyes, nose, mouth, belly button, and toes are (among others). He's can also tell you want the lion says, and from time to time the dog and cow, too!
He is weighing in around 28 pounds, and is wearing 24 month clothes and even a few 2T (as in Toddler...YIKES)! He's still in size 4 diapers and size 4 shoes. 5 bottom teeth and 1 stubborn one that should pop through ANY.SINGLE.MOMENT! He has 6 top teeth, one of which is a molar where only the corners are through, but it's SHARP so we're still counting it-Ha!
Finn loves to roll around, Tickle ("tika, tika"), giggle and make silly sounds too (Ooh, Woah, Ahh"). He loves to laugh at himself and "show off" in order to get others to giggle with him, too. We had both sets of my grandparents over for dinner several weekends ago. Between 4 great-grandparents, 2 grandparents, and 2 parents, it was absurd how much attention and love he was receiving; and boy, did he ever know it!!! He's also trying to copy tricks like whistling, snapping and making a popping sound by putting his finger in his mouth.
Other favorite past times are going for a stroll, coloring, and reading books. And speaking of coloring, HOLY COW, he can throw a FIT when it is time to put the crayons away-RIDICULOUS!!! He loves singing Twinkle, twinkle; Row, Row, Row your boat; ABCs; and Jesus Loves Me.He'll often sing a large portion of the way home in the car after work each day.
Hands down, his current all-time- favorite is practicing WALKING!!! He's SOOO Proud of himself; while he still crawls for speed and agility, he's starting to actually prefer to walk (especially outside). I am sure by the end of this week or next life will be very different around our household.

Each new day brings a new reason to smile with this little boy. Our hearts are as full as ever and grow with each day. We Love you more than words can say, Finn!!!

Such a little goofball! I melted when he was saying Kendall's name. And I was so impressed with his walking this morning, he was pretty darn brave---better watch out Mama, it's going to be a summer full of chasing him down! HA! So cute and at such a fun stage right now---It's so fun to hear them learn so many new words, won't be long till he starts stringing them together and it will blow your mind! We love you Finn! Or "Fimwy" as Kendall calls you.
